This Privacy Policy explains how Clutch Auto Transport LLC ("Clutch," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit clutchautotransport.com, request a quote, contact us, or receive calls, texts, or email from us. Clutch is a Dircks company. This policy covers Clutch only.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a quote, send us a message, or book a shipment, we collect what you provide, which can include:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and company name
- Pickup and delivery locations
- Vehicle details, such as year, make, model, whether it runs, and any modifications
- Preferred transport type and dates
- Anything else you include in a message or tell us by phone
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this with cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, described below.
Information from other sources
- Visitor identification. A third-party service on our site may match the IP address of a visit to the business or organization it is registered to, and give us company-level information such as company name, industry, and size. We use this to understand which businesses are researching vehicle transport.
- Business partners. Moving companies, dealerships, relocation companies, and other partners may give us your contact and shipment details when they arrange vehicle transport for you.
How we use information
- To prepare quotes, arrange and manage your shipment, and communicate with you about it
- To assign a carrier and share the details that carrier needs to pick up and deliver your vehicle
- To answer questions and provide customer service, including handling any claim
- To send marketing email and, where you have agreed to it, marketing text messages
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To protect our business, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:
- Carriers and drivers. Clutch is a licensed property broker. Your shipment is performed by an independent motor carrier, so we give the assigned carrier and driver the information needed to do the job, such as your name, phone number, addresses, and vehicle details.
- Service providers. Companies that run services for us under contract, including HighLevel (LeadConnector), which hosts our forms, customer records, text messaging, and email; Google, for analytics and tag management; our website host; and our visitor identification provider.
- Dircks companies. Other Dircks Moving & Logistics companies, where needed to provide a service you asked for, such as coordinating a vehicle shipment with a household move.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clutch, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
Text messages
If you check the text message consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Clutch Auto Transport at the number you provided. Transactional messages cover your quote, booking, pickup, and delivery. Marketing messages, which require a separate opt-in, cover offers and updates. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (602) 267-9401.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not limit sharing with the service providers that deliver our messages, such as HighLevel.
We send email about quotes and shipments you request. We may also send marketing email about our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop by contacting us. We will still send messages about an active shipment.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it.
- Google Analytics measures site traffic and how visitors use the site, including which pages lead to quote requests. Google's use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Google Tag Manager loads the tags on our site, including the visitor identification service described above.
- Advertising. We may use advertising services such as Google Ads and Meta to measure the results of our ads and to show ads to people who have visited our site. These services use cookies or similar technologies to recognize your browser across sites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended without them.
Your privacy choices
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our site treats it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We turn off advertising cookies and do not load our visitor identification service for that browser. Google Analytics still runs so we can measure basic site usage.
You can also opt out by contacting us using any method listed below.
